Me with my fav t-shirt: "goldfish tank". Too bad I lost it :(

I’m fairly new to Silicon Valley and moved here in the summer of 2008. I like following tech news and startups but since there is so much going on in the tech space everyday, I’ll just post my commentary on a selective basis. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Silicon Valley and I’ll try my best to answer it – or at least point you in the right direction.

If you’re planning on moving to Silicon Valley, here are some worthwhile links to check out (in no particular order):

  1. City-Data’s San Jose forum – post a question here and someone will usually get back to you shortly.
  2. Silicon Valley on Wikipedia – good place to learn about the Valley and what exactly comprises it.
  3. Craigslist’s South Bay (aka Silicon Valley) apartments: shared / non-shared -  an excellent source for apartment rentals.
  4. Yelp.com – before you go out to eat, read the restaurant reviews here.

Welcome to Silicon Valley and we’re happy to have you here!
